Journal Entry: Tue Sep 1, 2009, 11:32 AM

Hey guys, just a short note here. I really wanted to come by and thank you all for the :+fav:s and :+devwatch:s, but I have several thousand in there now, so I just can't catch up. I'm also about 7,500+ deep in deviations to look at. I will however respond to each and every COMMENT I get, so please keep commenting :)
Oh, uploading some new stuff from me. It's way different than anything you've seen from me, but I'm trying to expand my photography skills.

Thanks guys and gals!

hey, sorry for the delayed message back.. Work has been crazy, so I've had no time at all to get on or yet alone post anything up here. I will again... once I have time.

:icondtp78: referred me you. He said that something was not quite right about this photograph: [link] He said that something was "missing" but he couldn't figure out what. Do you see what he's talking about? :?

Hmm, I think that this thought of something 'missing' might be the strange h:w ratio. But I'm not positive. The grainy look makes it look like the ISO was set really high, but it is only at 200. Did you have to do a lot of post work to brighten the image or something? If you get a tripod and take a longer exposer, you can get more light and rid of a lot of that grain. You could try softening up the LED light with a piece of wax paper or something. I haven't used something like that before, so I'm not too sure ;) Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck!

Thanks for the help! My camera's a "point and shoot" so it gets really noisy. I try to keep the ISO at a minimum. But, the height to width ratio should be 3:2  I don't know what's wrong... I'll try to take this shot again with my tripod
